Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. This Great Commission from Jesus is a directive to all Christians of every time and place to go, teach, and baptize.
This command is also a fulfillment of the everlasting covenant God made with Abraham in Genesis 12:3, saying, "In you shall all families of the earth be blessed." (NKJV)
